This report, prepared for the Western Regional Biomass Energy Program by the Rice Straw Feedstock Joint Venture, looks at rice straw supply and use options in Colusa County, California, the largest rice-producing county in the state. End uses discussed include energy generation, building materials, paper production, erosion control, animal feed, and chemical production. Updates on projects currently using rice straw are provided.
